I started recording music self-taught at the end of the 90s. Starting with the dubbing function + mic input of the cassette deck, via a Tascam 4-track recorder, to the first free DigitalAudioWorkstations of the 90s. At some point I got to know the DAW Pro Tools during professional recordings with my second a cappella group muSix, and I was hooked. I wanted to be able to work independently at this level.
What I provide
Everything from the conception and realisation of the recording session, editing to the final mix. I also take care of out-of-house productions after recording or editing. Everything is possible, nothing’s a must.
What I cost
100 € per hour + 7 % VAT for private customers. Advertising, companies and oligarchs on request.
What I work with
- I work with UAD Apollo x16, Apollo Twin and preamps from Universal Audio.
- I capture vocals in a Desone vocal booth with the following microphones: Neumann U 67, Neumann M 49, Neumann TLM 103, Shure SM7b, Fake 67 (home-made).
- I listen on Sonodyne SM 300A, Auratone and 567 different headphones.
- I sum the mix analogue with the Sonic Summarizer Pro.
