Lukas Teske

Lukas Teske was born in Halle an der Saale in 1980, grew up in Berlin and attended the musically orientated Georg-Friedrich Händel-Gymnasium until 1999. In 2007, he graduated from the “Hanns Eisler” School of Music in Berlin with a degree in vocal solo performance and vocal pedagogy. In addition to his work as a tenor and vocal percussionist with the nationally touring a cappella group Maybebop, he produces and mixes albums and works with children, choirs, teachers, professionals and anyone who enjoys using the voice as a rhythm instrument.
From 2012–2020 he organised the Berlin vocal festival BERvokal together with Felix Powroslo. Whenever there is an opportunity (spoiler: rarely), he shares the stage with his childhood sweetheart Patrick as part of the duo “Hartmuth und die Hitmaschine”.
